The project: H&L Motors is a family run business that was founded in 1953. They have a wealth of expertise and cutting-edge technology, including for use on very high spec vehicles. The brief was to renew and refresh the H&L Motors brand and to apply it throughout their marketing and promotional materials on an on-going marketing support basis.
The Idea: To highlight their expertise by adding more premium cues to their existing brand without alienating the local day to day business.
The Execution: We used H&L Motors’ existing colours, but recreated a more premium feel, following the design cues of luxury brands, using black as a background colour and adding red as a highlight. The design was supported by core brand messages for consistency across all channels. We have been applying the new brand to H&L’s marketing since 2017, including: sales brochure, leaflets, banners, loyalty card, social media accounts and H&L van.
