4 Tips you can do yourself to improve your digital presents

These days your business is one of about 8 Gazillion search results and with 97%  of consumers using the internet to find businesses it’s now more important than ever to be online and lets face it on the first page for key search terms and your business name.

So here are my 4 tips that you can do to give you an advantage over your competitors

  1. Google my business page

Google loves Google so not having a Google my business page is missing a big trick, this is pretty easy and straightforward to set up as long as you have an address and email account, phone number for Google to verify,

Once done Google will create a “my business page” on its search engine - then you add content you add images, company logos, office shots and team pictures all with a map of how to find you.

  2. Back Links
    What’s a backlink

Quite simply a back link is a link from someone else’s site to yours - now this could be from a company you work with or a link from a business directory.

Now the better the site the more worth “Google” will put on it for example a link back to your site from BBC will be better than a link from a local business partnership.

    Free Backlink Sites

So just pick and choose the websites from this list you like best and want to use for your digital marketing link building campaigns.

What makes these some of the top free website backlinks to build is that they all come from high Domain Authority sites.

  3. Create an Avatar

Who is it your wanting to work with, who’s your ideal client / customers, where do they shop,

what brands do they like, what do they look like, where do they live, are they married, single, young, old,  rich, poor, what car do they drive, what keeps them up at night, what problems can you help solve, etc.

Build a mental image of the type of person your dealing with

  4. Content

Content is King - Google loves content, information, top tips, step-by step guides, blogs etc - it’s a great way of showcasing your knowledge for a subject - its a great way for your customers to get to know you.

The more information you can feed your website, your google business page, your LinkedIn business page the better your digital presents will be.

A Blog is a great way of adding regular content to your site.

They need to be a certain length, include keywords that your customers are searching for,

engaging headings and great images will help.
